Well, that’s what some students from our school did! About eight boys and girls in this year’s 8d were motivated enough to take part in a competition, the Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen.
First they mainly worked in the breaks at school and managed to get together some very good lyrics: (Travel) Around the World. Then they met at pupils’ homes – with lots of soft drinks, crisps, sweets and pizzas – not only to create the music to follow the lyrics (that’s what you’ll find here!) but to film a really good music video, too…
We handed the video in – so let’s keep fingers crossed – the results of the competition are due in early summer….
I really enjoyed working with my students in a different way (and I hope they did so as well ) – so enjoy the song!
